In Sub-Saharan Africa 70% of the population face challenges in accessing electricity. 53% of the population (600M people) have no access at all. Centralised supply is often inefficient and uneconomical. New methods are needed to expand and upgrade supply efficiency.
Countries throughout the world rely on gas-powered turbines for electricity generation. The opportunity exists to support the capture, and redirection, of flared gas to fuel electricity in remote regions. This action alone can bring electricity to thousands of people in remote areas.
