We're building a circular economy, driven by Bitcoin.
Despite advances renewable energy still faces challenges. High installation costs remain a barrier to entry. Inadequate infrastructure leads to wastage of energy generated. While demand and supply mismatches are hard to balance with a lack of storage solutions, like batteries.
Bitcoin mining addresses these challenges. As a buyer of last-resort, miners absorb excess power during periods of low demand, reducing waste and enhancing the profitability of renewable energy projects. This role also incentivizes further investment in renewable energy and can be managed against community energy demands. By utilizing surplus energy, this prevents curtailment during low demand periods and pauses during high demand to avoid load shedding.
Throughout our work we focus on how to solve challenges.
