Access to reliable energy has been a long-standing problem for Africa. Currently 600 million people live without access to electricity. While 1 billion people lack access to clean cooking solutions, therefore relying on biomass and other solutions. 600,000 women and children are said to die of indoor air pollution.
Solution
Affordable, renewable power production that is also profitable. NRG Bloom sees the future in extended solar, wind, and hydro energy systems in places like Africa. Our solution helps empower these rural areas to develop and expand their own sustainable power sources.
By providing training opportunities and sharing expertise, we aim to help these communities understand, operate, and maintain renewable energy infrastructure effectively.
