NRG Bloom - empowering Africa

In Sub-Saharan Africa 70% of the population face challenges in accessing electricity. 53% of the population (600M people) have no access at all. Centralised supply is often inefficient and uneconomical. New methods are needed to expand and upgrade supply efficiency. At NRG Bloom our goal is to unlock the potential of stranded energy, turning it into a revenue stream that can be reinvested to strengthen electrical infrastructure and expand supply. We’re taking best practices, seen from from across the world and deploying these methods in Africa.
